ProPair ("we", "us", "our") operates the ProPair mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account Information: Phone number, email address, name, profile photo
- Professional Information: Trade specialties, contractor licenses, insurance documents, service radius
- Location Data: GPS coordinates during active job tracking (with explicit consent, retained 30 days)
- Financial Data: Transaction amounts, payment methods, settlement records (processed via Stripe Connect; we never store bank account numbers or SSNs)
- Job Data: Job details, closure evidence photos, digital signatures, chat messages
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, device identifier (for single-active-device policy)
3. How We Use Your Information
- Facilitate job dispatch, claiming, and settlement between companies and technicians
- Process B2B financial settlements via Stripe Connect
- Verify identity and professional credentials
- Provide real-time GPS tracking during active jobs (with consent)
- Send push notifications for job alerts and settlement updates
- Prevent fraud and enforce platform integrity
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with:
- Stripe: For payment processing and KYC verification
- Twilio: For SMS/MMS communication
- Firebase/Google Cloud: For infrastructure services
- Dispatching Companies: Job-related data necessary for service delivery
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
5. Data Retention
- GPS tracks: 30 days (unless subject to legal hold)
- Financial records: 7 years (regulatory requirement)
- Chat messages: Archived on job completion, retained per financial record schedule
- Consumer PII: Auto-redacted 13 months after settlement

Under CCPA and GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of non-essential data processing
- Revoke GPS tracking consent at any time
- Export your data in a portable format
7. Consumer Data
ProPair processes consumer (homeowner) data on behalf of dispatching companies. Consumer data requests should be directed to the dispatching company. ProPair acts as a data processor under GDPR Article 28 / CCPA service provider framework.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access control, and regular security audits.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18.
